Palazzo Massimo alle Terme

Originally a Jesuit school, the palace is today one of the most important museums of ancient art in Rome, located in the Castro Pretorio neighbourhood. Pieces on display include busts, coins, floor mosaics and the garden frescoes from Villa di Livia, as well as several famous statues, including the Boxer at Rest, Sleeping Hermaphroditus and Crouching Venus. Today, the palace is the main branch of the four National Roman Museums.
