Palazzo delle Esposizioni

An impressive example of Neoclassicism at the end of the 19th century with its imposing façade, Palazzo delle Esposizioni overlooks via Nazionale and was built to house large international events. Today, the building is an exhibition space, notably hosting the Rome Quadriennale. Inside, the palazzo is fitted with a conservatory, cinema, auditorium, café and bookshop. It was built by Piacentini, and has been subject to restorations over the years.
