MACRO

The Contemporary Art Museum of Rome, otherwise known as MACRO, is based at two sites; the first is the old Peroni beer factory, next to Porta Pia, which was renovated by architect Odile Decq, while the other is an old slaughterhouse near the Pyramid of Cestius in Testaccio. The museum features exhibitions with stunning 20th-century art, notably the Bust of a Lady donated to the city by Auguste Rodin in 1913.
