New Horizons

Tudor opens its first Italian boutique in Rome with Hausmann & Co.

Tudor arrives in Italy and does so in grand style, choosing Rome and a high street like Via dei Condotti for its first single-brand Italian boutique and teaming up with an exceptional partner: Hausmann & Co. is a historic name in Roman watchmaking, a brand that only last year celebrated 225 years in business, with a multi-brand store in Via del Babuino - where Tudor timepieces were already on sale - and other single-brand stores, including a Rolex boutique, also in Via dei Condotti. Essentially, the connection between Tudor and Rolex is a double one: more than seven decades have passed since Hans Wilsdorf, founder of the iconic brand with the crown logo, created Montres Tudor which, backed by the Rolex guarantee and experience, soon became a prestigious independent satellite, renowned worldwide for performance, materials and design.

Not forgetting the identity of the brand, which is showcased in the choice of colours - red and black - instantly recognisable by the public.

Thus Rome joins London as a protagonist in the imminent European expansion of a brand which is consolidating its strength and identity with ever-increasing market presence.

Tudor’s success is due partly to its ability to combine coherence with the past and constant innovation, allowing the brand to be in step with the times in both technology and tastes.

The Black Bay: sixty years of Tudor diving history distilled into one truly iconic watch

All Tudor watches - every one undergoes rigorous testing to ensure accuracy and reliability - are fitted with a mechanical movement with automatic winding, and are available with a wide range of dials. There are a number of lines, from the elegant Glamour to the gritty Fastrider, via the Pelagos, perfect for deep divers, the Heritage, watches that pay tribute to the brand’s history, and the recently-launched Royal collection.

The mission remains the same: as the founder of the brand used to say: “produce the best possible watches, creating excellent-quality timepieces with contemporary design at the best possible price”.
